Introduction: Everyone has a backyard ,the place where they bury the painful, shameful, or terrifying parts of their past. The corpse in the backyard is symbolic of those unresolved experiences: betrayal, poverty, rejection, fear. Though buried, they still rot and release a stench that seeps into every part of a person’s life. And the tragedy? While you are busy maintaining the backyard checking if the corpse is still hidden, covering the smell, reinforcing the fence you neglect the front yard: the now, the next, the new. 1. In a world that often demands we protect our hearts, guard our emotions, and be selective in our interactions, there lies an undeniable strength in choosing to show up as your authentic, God-created self generous, open-hearted, and loving. This is the kind of radical kindness Scripture calls us to embrace, even when everything around us urges otherwise. Jesus exemplified this perfectly. In Luke 6:35, He challenges us: “But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back.
